‘Breakfast is not only a delicious start to the day but also an artistic one, the walls bedecked with 10 limited-edition linen scrolls with a Heaney poem on each.’ The Guardian 7 October 2016
A range of cooked breakfasts is available to our overnight guests, including the traditional Ulster Fry that we are famed for. All meals are cooked to order and in a way which will appeal to the health-conscious as well as satisfying the taste buds. We cater for people who have special dietary requirements, including gluten free and dairy free alternatives.
‘The excellent breakfast include what must be Gerardine’s signature dish, the freshest and most extensive fruit salad I have ever tasted.’ TripAdvisor Review 11 October 2016
A speciality is our mouth-watering fresh fruit salad. A small herb garden produces fresh garnishes and seasoning throughout the year and visitors are often greeted by the smell of freshly baked traditional wheaten bread as it wafts its way from the kitchen through the house. For that special occasion, such as the morning of a wedding, we can provide a special breakfast for groups of between 6 and 12 people. Please contact us to discuss.
We can provide lunches for groups of 6 to 12 persons in our private dining room. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
For guests wishing to dine out in any of the many fine restaurants in Magherafelt Town we will be happy to book a table for you.
